Well before we entered the new year we played the 2007 Terror Film Festival in Philadelphia in November to a super enthusiastic crowd of fellow Ghoulies...Philly Rocks!!! You can see footage of the performances on our MySpace profile: http://www.myspace.com/lonevein

We entered the new year with the goal of finishiung up our new CD titled "Murder of Crows" which we're working on with our other partner-in-crime, Dave Strahl. We should be done with this great undertaking later this Spring...keep an eye and ear out for it!!

The Lone Vein Duo just recently performed in conjunction with the Urban Visionaries "Outsider" Art Exhibition (featuring works from Pure Vision Arts, Kunst & Viegwerk and Atelier Herenplaats Studios) at the Van Der Plas Gallery @ 89 South St. We had the pleasure of performing amongst some of the most inspiring and unique outside artists from the U.S. as well as Holland and France. It was a great honor and enjoyable experience to share our music with these incredibly talented and special individuals.

We just got back from Calif.
and the highlight of the trip was playing in Joshua
Tree Desert. Just us in our skeleton attire and the rocks, sand, trees,sky,sun
and the Gods.I truley felt
the lizard king smiling down
upon us.We did document it on video and will be putting it on our myspace page soon so check it out!

NEWS FLASH-EVER SINCE EVIL EDDY GOT STRUCK BY LIGHTING A FEW YEARS BACK, HE IS ALWAYS SETTING OFF SOME TECHINCAL DEVICE . LAST NITE AFTER A 9 HOUR MIX DOWN FOR OUR NEW C.D."MURDER OF CROWS"
HE TRIPPED THE ALARM AT CITYBANK SO THERE IN THE V.W. BUG WERE BONNIE AND CLYDE OF THE LOWER EAST-SIDE WITH 5 COPS (nypd) AROUND US.
NO FOLKS WE'RE NOT ROBBING BANKS JUST YET.
BUT SOON ENOUGH EDDY'S GONNA TAP INTO SOME
PARALLEL UNIVERSE AND
THE POLTERGEISTS ARE GONNA BE SWIRLING.

MIDNIGHT BLUES; seedy, with a Carneylike sensibility of dilapidated Ferris wheels and x-rated
Cowboys roaming 42nd street. TOMBSTONE BLUES; songs pregnant with death, sung for the vampires Who get their ambition at dusk and crawl underground atdawn.
INTERGALATIC BLUES: Androgynous Almond eyed scatting cats speaking in tongues. Since rock-n-roll saved our lives time and time again, our Guardian angel is one who plays electric guitar his sonata is one of glitter, grit and spit. His tattered wings
Are full of holes from dropping cigarettes on them. He’s manic like a raven high on speedball looking like A winged Keith Richards…NEW YORK BLUES: Still the skyline gets decked out everynight
In her evening gown mixing her tears with champagne and the rain. The rains here are full of sorrow.
Feathers from her boa float down the Hudson river like little boats of memory. On the otherside of town You can hear the murder ballad of the bones in the East river, the notes drifting down south to some juke joint with Paneling on the walls and a Christmas tree in the corner blinking its eyes directing you down the Southern Highway full of mojo, magic, voodoo and omens. This is our sound ….This is our world.

Hey, so it's a new year and
we've got a new web site.
We look forward to having more direct communication
with those of you interested in the band.Some highlights for 2005 were the howl parade where we were the skeleton band.Anyone have photos? The halloween party show again at SIDEWALK where we were the dead.
And eddy and myself saw bauhaus at the noika theatre. WOW!! WHAT A SHOW.We have been in the studio all year working on our new c.d."a murder of crows" with David Strahl producing. On this c.d.
we got to experiment more (like singing out in the hall of the studio to get big reverbs).It should be finished in the spring
so be on the look out. This year we hope to hear and share more work with
all you out in cyber space
One plan we have is for a more regular theatre type
show on st. marks place.
We hope for peace this year and hope to create
more Evil music.
