April 25, 2006 CBGB's Main Room New York NY USA

It's always fun to play cbgb's main room! You feel the energy of the lunatics,
poets and rock godesses
that have trampeled before you.I always think of Patti Smith. Here's my poem about the evening.
Splintered Stages
Energy from me to you
From you to me
Sound cutting space
With friction and grace
The Fool clowns around
and can't come down
But it's so worth it
Eyes like lights
hands like drums
ears like flowers
Each drop of sweat
a bucket of emotion.

p.s. xoxo and respect to

"lonesome is the night
and the trains are crying
the wind blows dust round
the table hey who's buying?
raise a glass to the future
raise a gleass to the past
say a prayer for the children
and the way that they'll be living." Here is a part of a
song that was in our set tonite....Even though I
cut Eddy off in his opening riff , the song rocked and seems fitting for a journal entrie. Creepy dolls and
puppets surrounded us
as a part of the art installation which is there untill the 10th. I highly recomend checking it out.
Warm nite but it's all smoke and mirrors for the snow is comming tommorrow. The night feels lonsome like it's stars
are sad and tired. Why didn't the skeleton cross the road? Because he was already on the other side.

p.s. A big thanks to Edgar Oliver his introduction was
inspired

 February 18, 2006 HANK'S SALOON/journal entrie Brooklyn NY USA

The Hank's show went great. Brooklynites are real troopers and came out in 15 degree weather to fill the joint and groove to the Vein. Later my '72 Bug seized up and I ended up sleeping on the floor of our rehearsal studio...at least it was warm..tisk, tisk.

edgar oliver graced us with his presence and performed a poem to open the set. As always his work is inspirational. here's my poem about the evening.

toys surrounding us
little creepy monsters
and barbies with knifes
the warm air fakes us out
for there will be snow tomorrow.
lonsome is the night

the wind blows dust around the table
